Welcome
Participatory movement and design workshop Embodied Interaction through Movement (EIM) is a new way of developing and designing interactive products, where the quality of movement is of paramount importance. With EIM, we aim to bring together performers, movers, and students for design exploration with embodied sketches. By embodied sketches we mean code snippets that are created during the workshop and inscribed on hardware, software, and the bodies of the participants
|
The workshop consists of movement exercises, embodied sketches from a previous workshop will be also presented. The movement part is led by Ellen, Anu and Anamet; professional dancers, choreographers and dance teachers. The aim of this part is to bring awareness to the body and focus on the basic elements of movement; body, space and time. We will observe principles of locomotion while walking, distinguish body parts for specific articulation and explore movement qualities. We will also play with spatial design; directions, tempo and interaction. Sketches will be presented by Cumhur (AAU-CPH, Medialogy). April 21st, 1pm-4pm By: Ellen Kilsgaard, Anu Rajala-Erkut and Anamet Magven, and Cumhur Erkut.
